Virtuo eRecruit - Web Accessibility (AODA) Compliance Update

MediSolution is pleased to announce the availability of the Web Accessibility Compliance Update for Virtuo eRecruit that ensures our customers’ compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) sets out a process for developing and enforcing accessibility standards, including the requirements for internet and intranet websites: “Designated public sector organizations and large organizations shall make their internet websites and web content conform with the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, initially at Level A and increasing to Level AA…” O. Reg. 191/11, s. 14 (2). All public organizations in Ontario must be AODA compliant by January 1st, 2021.

The new update supports Virtuo HR eRecruit versions 2.3.45 and 2.3.46/2018.1 and features enhancements that conform to AODA’s Level AA requirements. Please contact our support team through Medi360 to confirm the next steps specific to your organization.
